Data Deletion Instructions

SynapAds takes your control over your personal data seriously. This page explains exactly how to request deletion of the data we hold about you, including data we received from Facebook (Meta) when you authorised our app to connect to your account.

What data we delete on request

When you request deletion, we delete the following:

Active campaigns on Facebook and Google Ads themselves are not automatically deleted — those live on the respective platforms under your own account. You can pause or remove them through your Meta Ads Manager / Google Ads Manager directly.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — Delete your account in-app (fastest)

  1. Sign in at synapads.com/login.
  2. Go to Settings → Advanced and click Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion. Your data is queued for removal and disconnected from all third-party platforms immediately. Final purge from our databases completes within 30 days.

Option 2 — Email us

Send an email to privacy@synapads.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your SynapAds account so we can verify your identity. We respond within 7 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Option 3 — Revoke Facebook authorisation

  1. Go to your Facebook Business Integrations settings.
  2. Find SynapAds in the list of connected apps.
  3. Click Remove. Facebook will revoke our access token immediately, and we will detect the revocation on our next sync and stop using it.
  4. If you also want us to delete the Facebook data we have already cached, follow Option 2 above to request full deletion.

Verification

To protect your account from unauthorised deletion, we verify your identity before processing email requests. We may ask you to confirm from the email address on file or to sign in to your account briefly to authorise.

Retention exceptions

A small amount of data may be retained beyond the 30-day deletion window when required by law:

These records contain no AI-generated content, no OAuth tokens, and no Facebook or Google data — only the minimum needed for compliance.
